LARYVOX® PLUG
- The LARYVOX® PLUG sealing plug serves for the short-term use with a defective shunt valve (voice prostheses) to prevent transprosthetic fluid leakage (centrally through the shunt valve).
- The sealing plug should only be used temporarily until the shunt valve has been professionally inspected and replaced if necessary.
- Use of the LARYVOX® PLUG prevents leakage through the voice prosthesis while eating and drinking
- Talking is not possible while the plug is inserted
- The safety strap prevents aspiration of the sealing plug
- The LARYVOX® PLUG is supplied non-sterile and with an insertion rod
- For all common shunt valves (20 - 22.5 Fr.)
- Available in two sizes for different shunt valves: LARYVOX® PLUG 4mm
